I didn’t even have to go to her blog to know shes a feminist because of her stupid as fuck haircut

dear person who decided this was an intelligent and/or necessary remark,

i hope you have a good holiday season, and i hope that this new year grants you a greater ability to be more accepting, open minded, and kind.  the world is full of hated-  especially toward women.  see, i’m not even personally hurt  anymore, because i see this kind of thing so often.  my hair doesn’t define me.  nothing about my physical appearance does.  and neither do the negative remarks of strangers.  i don’t normally reply to this kind of thing, but today has been a very special day for me.  y’know, i’ve been in your shoes.  i’ve felt anger and hatred toward fellow women.  but i realized that it stemmed from deep insecurities and ignorance.  breaking free of that was the kindest thing i could have ever done for myself and others.

 i’m not mad, but i want to use your remark to send a message to fellow girls who may feel the same way you do.  the world is huge and pretty fucked up right now, so focus your negative energy into something positive. educate yourself.  and i hope this next year you can find that light you are obviously lacking in your life.
